The Beeches is a three-storey holiday let offering a stunning rural location in the village of Hayton. Just a few minutes' drive from the towns of Brampton and Carlisle, and with the Lake District National Park 40 minutes away by car, it is ideally located for anyone seeking a quiet getaway with easy access to all Cumbria has to offer. Boasting three bedrooms, along with a spacious living and dining room, and equipped kitchen, it's the perfect retreat for a maximum of six guests.
The Space
The Beeches is a delightful three-bedroom holiday let with a spacious layout and great facilities for a stay to remember in Cumbria.
It boasts plenty of natural light, thanks to a floor-to-ceiling bay window in the living room and neutral tones in the bedrooms, creating a bright and airy ambience. Beautifully designed with modern furnishings throughout, the apartment features carpet flooring in the bedrooms and living room, and stone floors in the kitchen.
As you walk in from the entrance, you will find the kitchen on the right-hand side. If you love cooking, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a trip away including a hob, an oven, a kettle, a toaster, a microwave, a coffee maker, and more!
The outdoor space, accessible from the kitchen, offers bistro tables and chairs for enjoying the morning breeze or pre-dinner aperitifs.
The first door straight ahead from the entrance hallway opens to the living room. The living area is equipped with two leather sofas, and Smart TV and a small, fully installed and commisioned woodburner. The wooden dining table sharing the space ensures everyone can share a good meal any time of the day.
The family bathroom has a bright interior and is fitted with a bathtub with an overhead shower, a WC, and a wash basin.
The room next to the bathroom is the single bedroom. Featuring a desk area that can be utilised for work or studies, bedside drawers and a lamp, together with a walk in cupboard providing clothes hanging space, a chest of draws and a mirror, this space has everything you could need for a comfortable stay.
The second bedroom offers a king-size bed and a white wooden chest of drawers plus hanging space for your belongings.
The third bedroom, located on the second floor, is another relaxing area with a double bed, a single bed for added convenience, sloped ceilings, and beautiful countryside views.

The area is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, offering numerous walking and cycling trails that meander through the tranquil countryside. The village itself is dotted with traditional stone cottages and historic buildings, giving it a quintessential English village feel.
Hayton is a peaceful retreat. The village boasts a cozy pub, perfect for enjoying a traditional English meal or a refreshing drink after a day of exploring. Additionally, the nearby villages and towns provide a variety of dining options, from quaint tearooms to fine dining restaurants.
Just a short drive away, you'll find the bustling market town of Brampton, where you can explore a variety of shops, cafes, and local markets. Food shopping is easy in Brampton with local supermarkets and independent shops together with the very special Cranston’s deli. Alternatively, a visit to the nearby village on Warwick Bridge provides access to a local supermarket, petrol filling station and an excellent family butchers.
History enthusiasts will enjoy visiting the nearby Hadrian's Wall, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the ancient Lanercost Priory. For a taste of local culture, the Solway Aviation Museum and the Talkin Tarn Country Park offer unique experiences.
Getting Around
Hayton is easily accessible by car, with good road connections to the rest of Cumbria and beyond. This makes Hayton a perfect base for exploring the Lake District, the Scottish Borders, and other beautiful regions of northern England.
The nearest train station is in Brampton, offering convenient rail links to Carlisle and further afield including Haltwhistle, Hexham, Prudhoe and Newcastle.
Two bus routes operate in Hayton providing direct access to Haltwhistle, Hexham and Newcastle, among other locations.
Newcastle International Airport is 49 miles away from Hayton.
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to The Beeches are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to check-in.
Private on-site parking is available for two vehicles immediately adjacent to The Beeches.
One well-behaved dog is welcome to stay at The Beeches per reservation.
