The Space
Croydon Road Adobe offers a welcoming and modern space for your stay, accessed from the main road with a secure key code entry system. Upon arrival, you'll find Flat A directly ahead at the end of the corridor. There are two key boxes outside the property, with the upper box containing the property keys. Access codes will be shared separately with your check-in details.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay, and there's a dining table with chairs for meals. The living area, adjacent to the kitchen and dining space, features a cozy sofa and a wall-mounted Smart TV, with large glass doors allowing plenty of natural light to fill the space.
The property has two bedrooms: a master bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom, and a second bedroom with twin beds, which can be set up as a double upon request with advance notice. The main bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower, hand basin, and WC.
Additional spaces include a unique, light-filled covered area off the master bedroom, featuring a table and chairs, as well as a dedicated working space with a desk for your convenience. Croydon Road Adobe combines comfort and functionality, offering a perfect retreat for both work and relaxation.

The facility was in a very good tenantable condition, accessibility to services was excellent and host granted us exclusive possession and use of the facility and services therein. in fact we really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay there again and again. we are grateful

Three of us stayed here , check in was great. Place was as described unfortunately dirty cutlery & floor. We were missing towels but got sorted asap , asked to check out late but was not possible at all unfortunately. Shower was cold after one use! Location was perfect

We had to stay in this accommodation for a month and the only reason why we didn't move out sooner was because we have a 2 year old and didn't want to unsettle him. The location was also perfect for us and couldn't find any other available accommodation in that area. When we checked in the place was filthy. There were crumbs on the floor, hair everywhere, the shower had dirty residue in it and the toilets were disgusting when lifting the seat up. I did message the host and they were very responsive. They sent a cleaner over the next day but still they didn't do a go job. I ended having to do this myself. I also didn't like the way I was treated as I felt I was being an inconvenience. The WiFi was terrible and the beds were very uncomfortable. We wouldn't stay here again or recommend it.

Location to the venue we required was good Dirty floors shower tray and bathroom basin. Hairs left all over and shower tray clogged and back flowed due to hair in the plug. Towels were stained with make up and ?Oil. Walking round with bare feet left them filthy. Costly for what was provided

The size of the property is nice The property was not clean and there were bugs all over the place. The bathroom had silver fish on the floor and I found a cockroach under the pillow.

As a space, fine to live in, all amenities etc. provided. A smell off smoke upon arrival which could have been previous guests, and in general just needed abit of a clean, not up to my standards.

Good location. Spartan but serviceable in most respects Musty smell. Pizza from previous visitor in fridge. We were informed on day of arrival that washer/dryer did not work, no apology or alternatives offered. At my insistence we were housed that night in a different apartment and were able to do our laundry, but had to move out to make way for another booking. The management offered to cover costs in laundromat but we did not have time in schedule. I asked for a discount in view of advertised services not being offered, but this was not provided. Overall, communications were poor.

The location was convenient, close to shops and the train station. Overall the apartment was clean. After booking, I received an email asking me to verify and to pay a security deposit. The security deposit is £400 as listed on the hotel page on booking.com. What is not advertised is that the company they use to hold the security deposit (SuperHog) will request an £8 non-refundable fee to hold the security deposit that the guest needs to pay. This non refundable fee is also not advertised on Guest Homes' own website. This felt like false advertising. I contacted the Guest Homes and they said there is nothing they can do about the fee, despite the fact that this was not advertised at the time of booking. Two days before check in, I received a message from the Guest Homes team via the booking.com app saying the flat I had booked has 'suffered severe damage from the previous guest and is currently uninhabitable'. And they asked if I would be okay to move to an alternative flat within the same building. The alternative was 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, the flat I originally booked was 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms therefore I asked if I would receive a refund or compensation to move to the alternative flat. The next message received said that there is no need for us to move flats. This was extremely confusing given that 5 hours earlier I was told that the original flat was uninhabitable. On clarification they explained that they were incorrectly informed and that there was actually no severe damage. On the day that we were due to check in, we received a message via the app saying 'we want to let you know that the door in the bathroom fell off. We apologise for the inconvenience, we hope this won't disrupt your stay'. We were shocked!! Through further messages, it transpired that the bathroom handle had fallen off in the main bathroom. They were not able to get this fixed prior to our arrival. The poor communication caused a great deal of stress and anxiety with regards to our booking.

Host was super responsive to any questions I had. The place was easy to find and access...newly remodeled, nice and clean and no clutter. Set in the high street so great for cafes, local shops, grocery stores and the train station. Perfect for our situation, with 2 flats above for our extended family. Very happy

It's 20 mins away from Gatwick airport. Many options of food and groceries are available nearby. Sent to 3rd floor with kids and so much luggage. There is no storage for luggage available on the main floorand there is no lift. No napkins, broom or vaccum, cleaning materials, body wash shampoo, detergents, extra towels, or extra linen were provided. Flat wasn't cleaned properly. Owners are not living nearby, so no help. You have to buy everything you need. It's ok for one or a max 2 nights stay but not for longer stay. Late night, drunk people are yelling on the street. Due to main street whole night traffic sounds. Can't sleep because of sounds. Very far from central London at least 1 and half hour to see the London attractions.

The perfect place to stay for us as our son lives about 5min drive away. The apartment was clean, tidy and quiet. Really appreciated the tea bags for our first morning! Had all the mod cons you could want during your stay. Definitely would recommend staying here.

The location was great! The apartment is very small but cozy. The kitchen was well equipped. The windows didn't open all the way, but only slightly ajar, and it was difficult to ventilate. 2 times there was a problem with the internet, it stopped for a whole day, and I was working from home, and it caused me a lot of inconvenience. All the dishes in the kitchen were not well washed. There was no second set of sheets to change. There was only a mop for cleaning the floor, and no bucket, no floor and toilet cleaners. There were no bathroom cosmetics - shower gel, shampoo, soap.

Superb apartment in the centre of Caterham. As the apartment was a at the rear of the building, it is incredibly quiet and private in spite of it being situated on the main road.

The hob was marked and dirty The bottom of the oven wasn't clean All windows were smeared The bathroom light does not work unless the hall light is on The light in the main bedroom doesn't work There are no tea towels for drying up which is a problem seeing as there is no dishwasher The floor whilst looked clean was not as our feet were black after walking bare foot The single beds were very hard but the edge to the mattresses weren't supported meaning it was very easy to roll out Whilst the apartment sleeps 4, there is not enough seating for 4 either to eat or lounge There is nothing to watch on TV unless you have your own Netflix or similar account. This should be stated especially as Netflix has recently changed their viewing conditions There was no sponge or cloth to wipe down surfaces Microwave is far too close to hob and got hot when hob was in use Would recommend fitting blinds or nets in lounge for privacy. We had to keep the curtains closed making it dark as everyone can see in Whilst it is mentioned there is no parking but you can park in nearby streets, they are all double yellows. The only option is the only option is the station car park at a cost of £7 a day and each time you leave, you have to pay again when you return
