Great location, walking distance to town centre, pier, supermarkets and train station. Apartment has everything you need for a week's holiday. It was quiet until guests moved into ground floor flat and TV was very loud.  This could easily be a 10 if more attention was given to cleaning. Found shards of glass on bathroom floor, cobwebs on bathroom window, stains of mould above bedroom window. Outside of propety is not very inviting and the rubbish spilling over from next door does not add to its kerb appeal.

The heating  The shower was cold . And needed cleaning , also two uncomfortable armchairs The staircase was not well lit and the cutlery was not very clean 

It servered our purpurse

The flat location is very close to the beach front and close to the Pier.  I can not used a words as I didn’t like. But of course the property need improvement on quality of the service. I was surprised I didn’t find no one in 7 day to come a give us a change pair of sheets, or a extra bin bag. But… apart from that was okay. 

Good and quiet

Gutes Bett, ausreichende Ausstattung, hilfsbereiter Manager. Strandnah.  Dunkel bei Tageslicht, kein Spiegel im Bad, auch keine Ablage. Verschmutzte Herdplatte, verklebte Pfanne. Guter  Kühlschrank,der nicht ausgewischt war.Fensterscheiben vogelverdreckt( nicht frisch!)

Location ease of access  Property was damp 

I was not able to get into this property.  I could not gain access to the flat. I was told the £200 I had paid was for damage limitation. I was also informed I would have to sign a rental agreement. I don't know therefore how much I would have been charged to rent the flat. All this information should have been stated at the top of the page. I believe the company have sent me a partial refund for which I am grateful. Check all the information carefully.

The fact that it was self contained,  and private,  in a great location,  shops, transport and seafront all within a stone's throw. I can't fault it at all.  

Lovely place to stay me and my daughter enjoyed it  Was dusty and found coffee stains on the window ledge marks on cartins in bedroom and some stains on the pillowcases but other then that the room was nice 

I would stay again was nice very close to beach and shopping centre

Arrival instructions were incomplete, but 1 simple phone call and everything was perfect. Tha accomodation was immaculate 120% clean and full fitted out with kitchen utensils/appliances,iron & ironing board, toaster, washing machine & soaps, a first aid kit, bathroom was beautiful and a large shower. very close to the beach and very close to shops/arcades did i mention how clean it was?..👍👍 quiet location and very relaxing. I would recommend anytime.

Ideal for everything you need and close to shops and amenities and flat was set up brilliantly  All good 

No mirror in the bathroom and the tv was a nightmare to use, had to keep reconnecting every few minutes…. Not the fault of the landlord I suspect, just the poor WiFi connection. Everything else was superb

Very close to the beach and restaurants. Overall it was a lovely time.

It was very comfortable  The people up stairs caused flooring to creek up stairs really bad & kept me awake, neighbours and door down were dogy 

Very close to the pier, shops and main bus stops. Clacton is what it is and the people are super friendly. I enjoyed random conversations with people during my time there. The property management company were responsive and easy to contact.  I have a feeling that this property is also used as temporary DSS accommodation. I was initially booked into the downstairs flat, but the previous occupant damaged the place, so I was moved into the top flat. On arrival the flat had not been cleaned due to miscommunication between property management and cleaner. There was minimal mess, but the bed was appalling. A very old and bobbled sheet on the bed was covered in period and brown stains. The management company quickly arranged for a cleaner, and I suddenly had hotel quality sheets. Earlier in the day I called the property management office to ask if I could check in early.  I faced a brick wall and was told that I could not go early because an inspection was taking place. This was clearly untrue; if that had happened then they would have seen the mess. I don't appreciate being told untruths. A few other things - please provide something to hang the clothes hangers on, please put a mirror in the bathroom (shaving in the bedroom using a saucepan for water is not cool), and set the hot water on medium not the lowest possible, so a decent shower can be had.  Apart from this I enjoyed my stay...right up until the time the owner, who had got the checkout date wrong, decided to visit the property, whilst I was naked in the bathroom. Yeah, thanks for that.

it’s close to the beach and shopping centres. The place was very clean and cosy and had all the facilities you need . Excellent communication with the staff !  I couldn’t find a vacuum or brush to clean

The room had everything needed for a self sufficient stay. Parking on the road was easy.  Clacton - what can I say? Only stayed here when visiting family around 10 miles away - had I known what it was like I'd have stayed at Colchester instead. Blimey this place makes Blackpool look classy! Had a laugh though, fantastic steak place at Black Rock and the local spoons saved the day... which says a lot. Beach looks alright, a burned down building and seeing a man brandishing a brick in broad daylight made me think I was in an episode of Shameless - 

Location was very central and so close to the waterfront. Shopping precinct and main street also close by and within walking distance.  A better location instruction, such as door color. I attempted to access the main door on arrival

It was ok, close to everything. Fantastic location.I recommend this place. San, I'm thinking about my next stay😁  There could have been better supplies of some resources. But we could survive 

Amazing place and location, very close to the beach…the only thing is that the internet connection keeps going on and off but aside that everything is extremely satisfying

Reasonable stay but not very impressed. Linen was covered in lint, the bedroom was dirty from the window being open so the bed + floor was covered in leaves. The kitchen tap leaks everytime you turn it on and there was a lack of basic amenities - we had to go and buy toilet roll as there was none in the flat. To top it off, there was strange cut outs of nudie mags that had been stuffed down the side of the living room chairs. The area didn't feel very safe due to clear use of drugs in the street and people shouting late at night. Not a great place, definitely needs some work.

Location, walking distance to shop and sea .., no need to drive  The upstairs flat was very noisy when the people walked, it needs better flooring to correct this , also no hoover or mop and bucket

It was clean and tidy  The shower head was broke and the bathroom is a wet room which is fine but no slip mats or mops to make safe 

Good stay

Me and my boyfriend were traveling from london. The host did not get back to us about how to check in, I messaged them over and over again and there was no response. Which then led to me to talk to customer services and them forwarding a refund. Would never book with host and stay again

Everything very clean and tidy nice walk in shower good facilities washing machine and all for cooking ideal to shops and buses highly recommend  Nothing all good . 

The was  flat was OK, clean and warm, but there were a couple of issues. The internet did not work properly and it was not rectified during my stay.  Similar problems as described in a previous review. I did buy a prepaid data sim card so problem solved that way. It seems that the agency managing the place is not familiar with this particular flat as they suggested I should solve the problem by "resetting the router". The router was not inside the flat, probably in the downstairs flat. There was one spot in the bedroom were the signal was a bit better.  After pointing out this, the problem quickly changed to be an "operator issue". The kitchen table was Ok for working but in the description there was a dedicated working space. To summarize; if you don't really need the internet the flat is fine. Because of the internet-issue I evacuated to a friends place in London for the last few days.

Lovely flat it was just right for me  The boiler was very noisy 

Very clean everything you need good location to town and beach highly recommend good service enjoyed the stay  Everything was good 

Location was great especially as it was so close to the beach for Airshow! Property was lovely, very clean, and good size! Loved the way the table was set up and the furnishings made it feel homely! Price was reasonable especially with our stay being during Airshow!  Only issue was that there was no parking at the property although there was a space on the driveway the entire stay but I believe this was for the guest house attached so we arranged to park elsewhere.  Would have also loved if there was a hairdryer at the property! 

Would book to stay again!

The comfort of an apartment and the cleanliness  Only down side was been woken up at the crack of dawn by the seagulls constantly once they start....this is no reflection on the property I understand that and we had a lovely time and loved the apartment. 

Great property in a great location. Very easy to get around the area. Would definitely recommend.

Nice and clean close to beach, wi-fi and tv and cooking facilities  Hard to find initially as wasn’t well sigh posted. After stay unable to put keys back in combination lock/box left keys in letterbox
