Great place to stay - beautiful big house. We enjoyed it very much!

The Mill House welcomed us with a tea tray full of goodies, log burners in the main rooms and a kitchen big enough to cook, entertain and gather. Beautiful location next to the Mill Pond which enables you to sit outside and just relax listening to the water and watching the swans. No negatives - just for awareness for anyone staying up on the 2nd floor in the top bedrooms. When we arrived it was a cold day and the top rooms were freezing - but once we had found the heating system ( read the black information folder left in the house), the rooms heated up really quickly and were lovely and warm for our whole stay!

Our family had a lovely 3 night stay, the house was warm and homely, and the host thought of everything to make it home from home. Seven of us stayed, the rooms were spacious and we all felt we had ample of room. The house has a lot of history it was a privilege to feel a part of it. The resident swans and heron were a pure joy to watch in the garden along with other wildlife. We walked to the local pub and were met with a very friendly barman. Overall we will be very happy to return to this property very pleased.

Absolutely loved it. Just what we were looking for. Peaceful location, all you needed for a weekend break with friends and family.

The property is a beautiful house in a lovely area. However there are only two showers, one in a wet room style toilet downstairs next to the backdoor about as far away from the bedrooms as is possible. Unsuitable for a property that apparently sleeps 10 guests. There was a lot of dust and several cobwebs in most of the rooms. Only one set of cutlery for 10 which although is the minimum required, isn’t great when you need your wash up between main and pudding courses. The house could do with a bit of refresh. The stairs up to the loft rooms are precarious!

We had a lovely stay with family for an 80th birthday get together. The house was great and all ages loved it - from the 1 year old to the 80 year old! The facilities were great. We loved eating round the big dining table, and the lounge was comfortable. Beautiful garden, and plenty to do in the local area as well. Dinner from the local fish and chip shop was great, as was a meal in the pub just around the corner. A wonderful stay - thank you!

We loved the property and would definitely stay again. Communication was excellent. We had everything we needed and enjoyed playing a few rounds of pool whilst there. There was a queue for the shower at times but this was manageable. Something to be aware of in a big group. The second shower is far more rustic and wasn’t used at all.

Stayed at this property for a special family 60th birthday celebration. The house is wonderful, plenty of space. Bed linen and towels fresh and good quality. Well equipped kitchen and the rooms large and spacious. There was no cleaning welcome pack on arrival , an almost empty bottle of washing up liquid and some of the the hand soap bottles in the bathrooms and in the kitchen also almost empty. Cobwebs all over the back of the TV. The king size bedroom at the top of the house was clean but the two windows had cobwebs all over them and a large number of dead flies on the windowsill. Overall the house was clean but maybe just a little attention to detail regarding the cleaning in some areas is needed. However we really enjoyed staying at the Mill House and would certainly stay again and would definitely recommend. We had a great stay.

We stayed here for a family get together. There were 9 adults in our party. There was plenty of space to enjoy, both inside and out. The weather was fantastic and we made good use of the garden and patio area. Comfy beds. The lounge chairs could do with being upgraded as they are quite uncomfortableto sit on for any length of time but luckily we were in the garden most of the time.

The property is lovely and met our needs as an 8 adult group well. Very basic amenities were provided, we took additional loo roll etc. The top floor was not as clean as the other areas. The pub around the corner in the village was wonderful though! Overall a good stay for the long weekend, with more than enough room and the garden is beautiful.

We had the best Christmas at The Mill House! We are a family of eight adults and two children but we had lots of space to spread out. The host had thoughtfully decorated the house for Christmas and not just a tree! There were beautiful lights around the staircase, around all the fireplaces which also has decorations. It was so homely and cosy with the log fires which really made our Christmas feel traditional. We had deer and heron in the garden along with a peacock one morning and the children loved walking outside to see the cattle in the field. The sun room at the back has three light trees which made it feel Christmas cosy and was so warm to sit in. Towels and sheets were spotless and smelled fresh. We would have liked to have larger bath towels but it wasn’t a big issue. Travel cot or highchair wasn’t provided so we had to bring our own which was annoying as we already had so much to bring with spending 5 days over Christmas. LOVED our stay - highly recommend

We stayed at MillHouse property for the long bank holiday weekend. The house comfortably accommodated 8 adults and one baby - the bedrooms were brilliant, extremely comfortable beds and immaculate bed linen. The house is delightful: big spacious rooms, with a fab combination of traditional and modern decor. The house has everything one could possibly need: a huge well equipped kitchen and pantry; dining room; lovely sitting room with garden views, and tv and comfortable sofas; snooker/pool room; games room on top floor; and wonderful patio and gigantic garden space outside - perfect for breakfast and evening drinks. We absolutely loved Mill House and we’re sorry to leave!

really loved our stay at the mill house. beautiful property full of charm and character. well provisioned kitchen for cooking up a feast, wood burner for cosy evenings in the lounge, pool and board games just some of the added trinkets to enjoy. lovely outdoors space for eating outside and games on the lawn. close to local pub and plenty of scenic walks. only minor comment is a couple of the beds were a little sub-par quality.

This property was a really nice stay for our family to celebrate my father's 60th. It was a lovely touch to find a 60th birthday balloon and bottle of prosecco on arrival. It is a really large property with lots of rooms and sleeping options for guests. There is only one stand up shower in the 2 upstairs bathrooms, the other is a shower head over a bath, whilst there is a shower room downstairs, it's not the most inviting room in winter as it's so cold and little. The dining room and lounge really make this property, lovely features with wood fired log burners (no wood was left to use these so you would need to bring your own stocks). The kitchen is functional and traditional, the Stanley cooker heats the house and was a little tricky to get used to as it has a safety features that means it cuts off intermittently, we managed though. There was a Nespresso machine for coffee, so bring your own pods. We made the place our own and it felt homely. The garden area would be incredible In summer. it's huge and had a big table and BBQ. its a lovely country location, a short walk to the nearest pub and drivable to many more. very peaceful and we were visited by the local swans each morning. All bedding and towels were perfectly laundered and clean. we would stay again if booking this area.

A wonderful property in a truly lovely setting. Everything clean & presented in a truly luxurious manner. It was the perfect setting and location for a holiday in Norfolk. The pub really is 5 mins walk and a great place for a drink and excellent food.
