The location, great value for money Would have been nice to have a curtain/blind on the door and the widow by the dining table, for some privacy and shade but other than that it's perfect!

We spent a few relaxing days in the Little Barn. It's in a great, very beautiful location, excellent for starting some hikes right from the doorstep. It's in a very peaceful, remote area but close enough to Leek or Buxton if any shops are needed. The house is super cozy with a great fireplace that we enjoyed. The road going downhill has some serious potholes on both sides, be very careful especially if you drive in the dark. It would be great to have some blinds for the door or the downstairs window to create more privacy - although nobody should be walking around the building, it would be nice to have the option. We also found the kitchen lacking some handy utensils to prepare meals or an extractor fan & overall functionality - the oven is right next to the sofa etc. Also the 'cheezy' sofa wasn't smelling nice, probably from the previous hikers who hadn't changed their socks :(

Incredible stay in an ideal location. Fantastic walks on your doorstep. Walkers dream. Few minutes walk from The Roaches hike. Barn itself was surprisingly spacious (even with a toddler) and comfortable. Views from the barn amazing. Would 100% stay again. The addition of a little toy basket for our son was a lovely gesture Nothing to think of. Perfect for a short stay

Beautiful scenery, very cosy cottage. Pet friendly and playground was a hit. The drive down to the house was a bit difficult. Could be better sign posted.

The barn is so cute and cosy, the surrounding area is so lovely to explore as well so we didn't have to go far for some really nice days out Theres no usable storage in the kitchen to put your food etc, we had to keep everything in a really stiff to open draw, just to bear in mind if you bring a lot of food for the week you might not have anywhere to keep it.

We had a few minor issues which were dealt with immediately. The location is amazing and the log fire soon warms the property. The damp feeling every morning
