We stayed in this flat while we were in Norwich for our daughter's graduation at the university. It was perfect for what we wanted and in an excellent location with great shops and places to eat nearby. The parking space at the back of the property is very handy too. The furnishings and interior are of a very high quality, and it is a very pleasant and relaxing place to stay.

The location is good. The staff is very kind.  Although it was very clean, the dusty/musty smell  was noticeable. I am allergic to dust, so it was kind of uncomfortable my staying in the place. The bedroom blinds does not shut completely, thus some light was filtered.

Great apartment, exactly as the pictures and description in great location - 10 mins gentle walk from city centre and added bonus of parking.     Dealing with Sascha was straight forward and uncomplicated.  Will stay again when we return next summer.

We had a guest arriving for a family event and wanted her to stay near our house. This was the best flat available near us.  Our guest was elderly. Nowhere in the booking did it state that the flat would be on the ground floor. This made our guest feel a bit unsafe as people can look in to the flat's kitchen.  Furthermore, there is a staircase leading to the bedroom which is quite steep. Quite tasking for an elderly guest.  Another point was the building entrance, you have to enter a code to enter but there's no light. We found ourselves fiddling with the phone lights etc. Not nice, especially when it's raining. 

Nice location, spacious place  Internet was too slow, no WiFi signal in bedrooms. 

Great location (20 min walk from city centre) with plenty of shops nearby. Great facilities and really easy booking/ check-in. Highly recommend!

Die Lage außerhalb der Innenstadt war für uns gut (da in Nähe zu Freunden). Die Bushaltestelle ist direkt vorm Haus und in weniger als 10 Minuten ist man in der Innenstadt. Die Wohnung war nach hinten raus und dadurch ruhig. Sie ist nicht luxoriös eingerichtet, hat aber alles, was es für ein paar Tage braucht und war sauber.  Ich habe eine Leselampe am Bett vermisst. Zudem gab es nur Jalousien, aber keine Vorhänge, so dass es - bei Vollmond - im Schlafzimmer relativ hell war.

Lovely space. Great position to walk into the city. Very clean. Great to park the car and not need to use it.

Great location, spacious flat, good to have free parking included.  Little things like having washing up liquid and a dish towel would make the stay more comfortable. Nigh on impossible to take a shower without water leaking out on the floor. Draughty, single-pane windows  - I wouldn't want to stay in winter. Uneven floors were quite something! 

Beautifully presented and wonderfully located apartment in lovely ol' Norwich.... we enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend Sascha and his gorgeous apartment for hip and trendy nights and days! How old do I feel saying Tre dy!.... great place...great host....

As long as you’re ok with a lot of stairs, and a multi-level apartment, this is a good choice in the general location. The off street parking is a big plus

Nice place in a handy location. Only 20 minute walk into the centre.

Great location and good value for money  Communal areas could have done with a vacuum, lots of marked walls and paintwork and vinyl floor in main room was split.  Only one bedside light and it broke and bit tricky ducking slopping roof to get into bed.  Bit confused by bins.  We assumed that the green lid denoted recycling, but the red lid bin didn't have a liner for food waste, whereas the green lid bin did. 

We primarily booked for the location and all we needed was provided.

The apartment was clean and tidy as pictured in the listing. Check in was easy with clear instructions and the parking round the back was great.

Great location walking distance to the city. Good bars and cafes locally and some great cafes and shops on Upper Giles St.

Great location and comfortable facilities.   Local amenities really close by.  City centre is not far away if you fancy a walk or you can take the bus (runs every 15 minutes) bus stop is across from the property.  Would certainly stay again.

Flat was clean, tidy and generally very comfortable. There was a large fan in the main bedroom which was amazing as it was a very hot weekend. Could have done with one in the twin room as well though. Beds were comfortable. Excellent location, close to the city and easy to get back to the A10 and ring road. Biggest plus was the parking spot as there isn't much space to park on the surrounding roads so having an allocated space made life much easier.  The road it's on is quite noisy, only an issue in the living room as it's in the front. Not an issue for the bedrooms as they are in rear of the property. Also not the best sofa but only an issue if you are spending a lot of time in the actual flat. 

Lovely flat, would rent again

The property was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Just a shame regarding parking  The advert said parking, we read the reviews and it stated that parking available. On payment we received a email to say parking availability was at a nearby road 10 minutes away. Their was no parking as the roads all had parking zones or 30 minute parking and no return.  Contacted the number provided and was told once again parking was available but you had to look for it. The particular apartment we picked did not have allocated parking   The property was very clean. However, the kettle or cooker didn't work, so difficult to make a hot drink.

Nice and easy stay. Great location in a cosy little flat :)  The bedroom was a tight fit as it could only fit the double bed in.

I was in Norwich for Business and was lucky to find this apartment. The property is stylish and comfortable and has been furnished to a high standard throughout. A good size living room, comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen made it a home from home for me. It is situated in a popular area with coffee shops and restaurants on your doorstep and a Tesco within 5 minutes walk. Highly recommend this apartment for any Business travellers. I very much enjoyed my visit and hope to stay again soon.

Lovely top floor apartment. Clean and tidy. 

Lovely flat in a great location - easy to walk into central Norwich, lots of buses and plenty of shops, pubs and takeaways. The parking space is invaluable.  It’s on a busy road so can get a bit noisy on weekend nights but we loved being in the midst of it - very buzzy and lovely.  The flat is comfortable and well-furnished, and had pretty much everything we needed. Storage space slightly limited in one bedroom but it didn’t matter too much. Really enjoyed our stay.

Keys please! - needs deep cleaning (vacuum carpets, cobwebs on ceiling, dusty resistors, dirt marks on walls - torn vinyl flooring was trip hazard - fridge / freezer not convenient for family (too small) - lacking start up essentials (tea, coffee, sugar, etc) - diluted handwashing liquid in bathroom was lowest point - creaky bed in kids room - not really a serviced apartment

Good location. Warm and nice apartment.  The apartment was on the top floor and there was no lift in the building, it made my family very inconvenient as I was travelling with elderly. It would be helpful to my stay if the host could tell which floor of the apartment is located during the booking process.

Easy and simple check in.  Spacious living area.  Entrance to the building at the rear is not desirable, it smelt very bad throughout the building and the communal corridors were dark and dingy.   Not enough cups/mugs for 4 people staying. Bathroom could have been a little cleaner for the price.

Perfect location for a friends weekend away

Very comfortable bed, nice kitchen, good localisation. Cute terrace house.  Not very clean, unpleasant smell, no wi-fi, a lot of long confusing messages from the host.  I didn't like having a gas stove (!)  just in the bedroom. 

Do not stay if you’re disabled and pack lightly as you have to climb quite a few floors, take your own toiletries, coffee, soap, toilet roll, etc as you will struggle to find any of these on offer.  I wouldn’t really stay here again for a nice get away, more somewhere to rest your head and are out of luck elsewhere.

Pre visit our service was excellent with prompt responses to our enquiries, on arrival the flat was very clean and tidy.  Great location and minutes from Warwick St Social (Superb food and gin BTW). A great bolt hold for the weekend or for a longer stay in the premium suburb of Norwich. Would recommend. Thank you

The flat is beautifully presented and the layout is great. We went to the pub across the road for a cocktail and sat outside in the sun, very relaxing. We also walked to The  Earlham Arms one evening for a meal, nice food. We didn't walk to the centre/shops but you would be able to from the flat. The flat is very accessible and a good base to visit The Broads, Great Yarmouth etc. Parking is fine. Make sure you make a note of all the door locks!!!!

I had a fantastic stay

The beds were lovely and it was so good to be able to have a warm bath in the evening. The flat was very clean and very well organised and it was great to have a carpark at the rear of the property. As I had lived on York Street for more than 22 years, the location was also absolutely perfect too. The bus stop being just opposite was so handy as were all the pubs, take-aways and Tesco express.  A big thank you!  It was a shame that the windows were a bit old and so, not very ecofriendly.

I’ve been there for three weeks with three other people and I can only recommend this appartment. It‘s very good located and there are some nice pubs and restaurants near the accommodation. It was a pleasure.

Sascha' apartment was perfect for our weekend in Norwich. A comfortable 20 minute walk into the city centre, there is a lovely coffee shop, takeaway, pub and restaurants opposite the apartment should you need. The apartment block was smart and felt safe despite being a busy area.  The kitchen was well equipped and the bedding and towels were lovely and fresh.  We appreciated the designated parking- just be careful if you have a big car- it's a tight squeeze! 

Good value, well-positioned apartment. We have previously stayed in a larger one upstairs but only needed a small one this time. The apartments have been refurbished to a generally high standard but see below. The 25 bus stop is just across the road.  The whole building really needs new windows. The existing ones are the originals, single-glazed, frames not in great condition, and only one opened in our apartment. We were comfortable in mild February weather, but very hot or very cold spells could be uncomfortable. The bedroom in Apartment 3 has very bright ceiling lights with the switch in the living room. It needs a pair of reading lights, possibly just small LEDs on goose-necks. The bed takes up almost the whole room - not a problem for us but one person has to climb across.

Great style of flat with great amenities around it

Once we checked in via link the door codes were both sent by email & text, so easy & no need to get to the flat by a certain time to meet someone, handy when you travel by train. The flat was lovely clean and having some coffee, tea, milk & sugar was a very welcoming touch. The area is our favourite when visiting Norwich as it has a village feel with a park not far away & only a short walk to the centre.  The windows do need a bit of a look at as one in the sitting room didn't open at all and the other one was very difficult & we did need to have some air in as it did get quite warm in the lovely sunshine. 

A very restful stay

The first reason to pick this property is the location, which is good for the centre of town, and near to a bunch of restaurants and pubs as well as handy amenities like the local co-op.  The designated parking space is also a major plus. In terms of practicalities: the bedrooms are on the back of the property so nice and quiet, the shower functions well with decent water pressure, there is a small but functional kitchen including all the basics and some items you don't always get such as chopsticks, a french press and a tea towel (really appreciated that hand soap was available on arrival as well - not everyone thinks of this)!  Wifi works throughout the flat and was fast enough for us to stream Netflix, and the remote check in process was clear and easy. It's not a boutique hotel or a 5* luxury experience, but if you want something convenient, practical and stress free, I would recommend this property 100%

The apartment is lovely - bright, spacious and comfortable. It’s a 15-20 min walk into town so well-located and great that it has its own parking spot. Although on a busy road, the bedrooms are at the back so it’s nice and quiet at night. There’s a Co op, Tesco Express, newsagent and takeaways just a minute away. I had to ring for info on how to get in on arrival and the phone was answered straight away and I received the help I needed.  The apartment is at the top of the building so there are about 30 stairs to climb. Would definitely recommend and would be very happy to stay there again.

We had a nice time staying at Sascha's appartment in Norwich. It's in a quiet neighbourhood with shops and restaurants close by. Sascha was very responsive and answered quickly. The only negative point was that there wad only one toilet paper roll for 3 days and 4 people so we had to get some ;) but overall we had a fantastic stay and I would recommand staying at this appartment.

Warm, clean and functional. Excellent value.  Parking arrangements or lack there of could have been cleared in the ad. I think SOME of the apartments have an allocated space. Mine didn't, although I was able to park in the "alley" for all but one of the nights.

Spacious, comfy beds, great location, parking space.  No mattress protection on single beds, bedroom 1 window wouldn’t open, cobwebs, dirty blinds, basic furnishings, no instruction to access parking (deduction required!), stained coffee mugs, no door shelf for milk so it leaked.

Location and very clean.  Some issues with kitchen equipment (no bread knife, only 1 dessert spoon, shelf in fridge broken etc) generally a little dated, could do with a refresh. Back door lock didn’t work, only worked 1/20 attempts.

Bardzo dobry na krótki pobyt.  apartament nie spełnił moich oczekiwań co do standardu czystości, tylko lodówka była czysta, bo nowa. Pralka brudna w środku, nieczyszczona. Ubrania wyciągnęłam brudniejsze niż je włożyłam do urządzenia. Potem prałam już ręcznie. Pajęczyny na starych oknach, plamy pleśni na silikonie w kabinie prysznicowej, wrażenie wszędobylskiego kurzu. 

Such a lovely apartment & perfectly situated. Great place to stay if you want to be within walking distance of the city centre. Loved the style of the apartment and fell in love with the sofa. We had a lovely time. Just bare in mind that there are some low, sloped ceilings and a fair amount of stairs.  Would highly recommend!

Beds were comfortable, warm, comfortable sofa, great shower. Parking and rear entrance. We’ll equipped kitchen.  Not a lot.

The images bear no resemblance to the current state of the Apt. We booked two nights and travelled from Devon left after one. We would have checked out on the evening we arrived but unfortunately, we were unable to find another Hotel. The whole place is absolutely filthy and has a very strange smell which we think came from the carpets which were absolutely filthy and badly fitted. The bathroom was disgusting and had the following problems: 1. Mould and drip stains on the walls and Velux above the shower. The extractor fan doesn't work and clearly hasn't for some time. Images provided. 2. Black hairs in the shower and on the door. Images provided. 3. The sink and surrounding walls were filthy. Images provided. 4. The Shower tray and surround were rotted out on one side. Images provided. All the skirting boards were disgusting and had obviously never been wiped or cleaned and this also goes for the walls which had marks all over them. One of the towels had bird muck on it! We did contact the host the following day and made everything clear.  We have numerous images of the dirt and mould, hairs in the shower, dirty carpets and also of the bird muck on the towel. I am more than happy to share these with anyone. We have asked for a refund and did provide photos but we have been refused on the grounds that we didn't contact them on arrival! How on earth we could do this so late and resolve the matter is beyond me.  After the ridiculous response from these people, I will be taking further action and I truly hope the whole place was steam cleaned before the next guest's arrived! I don't want to ruin anyone's business but customer service and satisfaction should be a top priority and this case it clearly isn't. Even when presented with images of the mould and bird muck on the towel these people still refused to refund us. Do you think they would accept this if they were staying in a Hotel? I think not. I find it incredible that reviewers are unable to upload images on Airbnb and it seems to me that most people would be scared to leave negative feedback for fear of receiving the same back. The location was great within walking distance of city centre and booked because of that and the parking.  The apartment is much needing tlc and decorating and could have been cleaner. The crockery needs renewed as chipped and that and the cutlery should be checked for cleanliness prior to guest arrival. The bath and tiles require attention and resealing.
