Princes Cottage

Booked on behalf of some colleagues who were working in the area. Great communication from the host and easy check in. Place is lovely and had zero complaints from the chaps staying. Great location as well for our site, will be booking again if returning to the area!

Fabulous house, beautifully decorated. We had a great time exploring Norwich.

The location was excellent and we loved having our own rooms and plenty of space. Two bathrooms was also amazing. Just needed more toilet paper towards the end, but it was easy to buy.

Lovely location which was handy for shopping or traveling on rail or bus. Everything was clean and all the facilities that you needed are there and even though it seems small there is plenty of room. Showers are quite small and the kettle needed replacing due to limescale. Safety concern if you have a toddler, the side door could be opened by an inquisitive set of hands.

Lovely place to stay in Norwich that’s so close to lots of lovely things to see. So grateful for the fans in the heat!

Location and decor of the cottage. Not a big deal but just so that this can be checked for future guests- a few of the downlight bulbs need replacing.

The property was in a great location and it had everything we needed including super comfy beds. The street outside was quite noisy late at night with people taking loudly.

Super cottage great location. Very comfortable, showers not perfect but adequate. Had difficulty opening key box - 2key boxes in directed cupboard and both different. However a phone call and all was sorted so thank you.

The house is located in the coziest street in the middle of the historic part of Norwich with good pubs and restaurants around the corner. The apartment itself is small, but has everything you would expect. The apartment can definitely be recommended for both friends who want to experience Norwich nightlife or family who need a central base when exploring Norfolk.

Location was perfected. Loved the size of the rooms and decore. Well equipped kitchen. Not having a safety chain on the front door. We had an unexpected person knock on the door and there was no way of finding out who it was without opening the door. Having that safety chain would of made us feel safer.

Quirky decor, comfy beds and excellent location. Tricky to find the key as host and stay didn’t provide information about where to find the key box. Only a 4 digit number was provided.

Tolles Haus in toller Lage mit schöner Einrichtung und liebevollen Details. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht und vieles, was einfach nett und komfortabel ist. Die Lage ist ungeblaublich schön und zentral. Die Kommunikation war unkompliziert, sehr freundlich und immer hilfreich. Beim nächsten Urlaub in England werde ich sicher wieder dort buchen.

Decor, use of colours, quirky lighting , artwork,facilities, location…everything, really! Not sure we disliked anything! The blind in the twin room didn’t fully close but not a major issue.

Great cottage in picturesque location right in the centre of town. Few minutes walk to great coffee shops, restaurants and independent shops. St Andrews Car Park only 5 in walk away so easy to park car. Host was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Norwich.

The house was comfortable, well decorated and furnished, facilities were great I could have done with more instruction manuals for the oven and TV.

We liked everything about the house and it's location. We all loved the decor and the quirky touches, trolls above the doors, David Bowie keeping an eye on us!! We loved Norwich. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and it really helped that the weather was fab. Would highly recommend both the property and the city. We had an issue with the heating, it did not come on automatically as it was supposed to. I contacted the property admin via email and received 1 reply asking us for the boiler number.... As we were singing all day and hadn't even found the boiler I had no clue and replied as much. We heard no more from either our host or the admin.... Just a tad disappointing because everything else was perfect. Luckily we had a technological brain amongst our party and she figured it out !!

The location of this property was fantastic. So close to the city centre, river, cathedral etc. The house was well kitted out, with everything we needed. Comfy beds. It met all of our expectations. It would have been useful to have some dishwasher tablets and enough toilet rolls for the stay. The kitchen was a little tight for 6.

A fabulous short break in a truly fantastic property which immediately felt home from home. 8 Princes Street was immaculate from top to bottom and had everything we needed - we were particularly grateful for the sturdy fans in every bedroom given the heat during our stay. We also loved the quirky decor which added zingy colours and a sense of fun without compromising the period character of the home in any way. My favourite was the bright green cuckoo clock. We found it ideally situated to explore the attractions, shops and plethora of restaurants and pubs in Norwich. A note to future guests - be aware that you use the side door for access, not the front one which initially had us briefly flummoxed! Thanks to Norfolk Holiday Properties who promptly and helpful answered my queries prior to our stay. Thumbs up in every way ??

The property was within walking distance of everything and was well presented - a bit quirky. The shower in en-suite was not working but they came to fix it. The carpets were a bit threadbare and lifting in the bedrooms.

This location was perfect. Our family could easily walk to the City Centre for anything we needed. Lots to do and see. With this location being so close to the city, you also have a lot of foot traffic but this location was worth it.

Heading to wonderful Norwich for a wedding, we needed a city location for us and our kids that was central enough and spacious enough for us all. 3 kids and two adults fit wonderfully in this lovely property. A perfect location with easily manageable packing, you are right in the centre of historic Norwich, mere metres from the Cathedral and Tombland areas. A great spot and a wonderful stay. We will return if we're ever Norwich-bound.

Perfect location for Elm Hill and the cathedral Close. Spacious bedrooms, stylish downstairs living area. Would stay again.

Excellent location for historic Norwich

Lovely house. Fantastic location. One of the sofas is a little narrow so not too comfortable but we were out and about most of the time so it wasn’t an issue. Highly recommend this house. Just make sure you find the correct key safe. There are three. Two in a cupboard.

We had a fantastic stay in Norwich. Super clean, comfy and homely accommodation. We loved the decor it was great. Had a bit of trpuble with the padlock but it wasn't a drama someone came to help us very quickly, the hosts were fantastic . We would highly recommend and would most definitely come back to this cottage.

My family had a lovely stay here for 3 nights. Super clean, beautifully decorated and lots of thoughtful extra’s and quirks. Situated just next to the awesome Elm Hill, it was a great central location to go and explore the city, as well as the river by canoe. Highly recommend.

The house, its location and amenities exceeded our expectations. It is set in an old neighborhood in the historic city center with narrow cobblestone streets, many shops, cafes, pubs, medieval buildings and pedestrian zones close by the river. We were a 6 minute walk from everything. The kitchen was well appointed although we chose to go to pubs and restaurants for meals because of their variety and excellence. The decor is contemporary, uncluttered and cute. Appreciated the artwork portraits depicting Frida Kahlo and David Bowie. Highly recommend this accommodation and host.

The location was brilliant and we loved staying here. The cottage is virtually in the heart of Norwich and bars, restaurants, shops and places of interest are within walking distance. Although very centrally placed, the cottage is in a very quiet area. Princes cottage had everything we needed and was cosy & comfortable. Although relatively small great use of space was made in the kitchen area. The bedrooms were spacious and there was more than enough storage. We enjoyed the character & artistic touches in the house. The showers were perfectly adequate for us and the pressure of the water was fine. We had some plumbing issues but these were sorted out very quickly by the letting company. Communication with the agency was excellent. The recess area used for hanging clothes in one of the bedrooms needed a light as it was too dark. Although very lovely, the lights upstairs were not bright. The bedside lamps, in particular need to be brighter as does the bathroom light.

Everything was pretty good, beds and mattresses could bei improved (a bit old maybe?). Aprt from that ze had a very good week in this nice cootage.

Location. And it was so cosy and welcoming. The decor was wonderful and it was well equipped with really lovely things. It was also really warm. The whole stay was very special. The water pressure in the showers wasn't great but this was a small thing and in no way detracted from a truly wonderful stay

Super location and lovely property. Plenty of pubs and restaurants and the main sights all within walking distance. Comfortable beds & quality bedding/towels etc. Not the biggest kitchen/living area, so perhaps not beer suited for a bigger group of adults looking to spend most of the time indoors, but can't fault it as a base to explore lovely Norwich.

This cottage is in the perfect location for exploring Norwich, right in the heart of the city and close to the cathedral.

We stayed here as a big group for my sister's wedding. My mum stocked kitchen with beer and food on the day of arrival (would recommend her haha). I really liked this place. My other family all stayed at the Maids Head. I enjoyed feeling more like a local in this amazing part of the city. The kids could wander into the shopping district, we could wander to the pub, people could come find us. The only problem we had was the door lock which most of the kids could not operate which drove me mad. All up though highly recommended

The location and the fact that the accommodation was spotlessly clean The only issue we had was with the bins, which were quite full and smelled bad when we arrived. The recycling systems weren't clearly explained

Very nice apartment, very well located to explore Norwich on foot. The apartment is well equipped and description and photos match very well. We liked the organization/equipment in the kitchen very much. Although it is not very spacious it felt very cosy and with the corner bench we could all sit by the table for meals and for playing games. Also communication with the host was very easy and proactive. Thanks for all, we really enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay. It was beautiful and exactly as advertised. Our only criticism is that the mattresses could have been more comfortable. We will definitely stay during our next trip to Norwich!

We had a fantastic break in Norwich. The historic little house was a real gem, in a brilliant location for walking the city; right in the centre. We felt part of the very historical locale but with access to all of the amenities required. We hired a car and used the Monastery car park just a short walk away by the river. We had such a happy time visiting the coast and taking a boat ride on the Broads. There is still so much we need to explore that we will just have to plan a revisit and Prince’s Street will be our only choice.

The place was actually nicer than the photos! Ideal for a small family break.

Lovely warm house with well equipped kitchen and 3 well sized and comfortable bedrooms. Easy walk to the shops and theatre.

Excellent house in an excellent location. We loved our stay. The decor is beautiful, the facilities were everything we needed. Very clean, excellent beds and bedding. Loved it. But the location was the star of the show. Lots of great shops, cafes and restaurants. Particularly loved XO Kitchen, Kofra coffee, Two Magpies bakery, Churros for the people stand on the market. Highly recommend this property

Logement très chaleureux, avec beaucoup de charme ! en hyper centre, idéal pour tout faire à pied. Parking à proximité (un peu chère le parking). Le logement est un peu bruyant la nuit pendant le week-end du fait qu’il soit au centre de norwich.

-Location is good -Nicely furnished - No aircondition. It was realy hot outside by day, but in the house there was no aircondition and we couldnt sleep. - At night the air temperature was 16 wich is ok, but in the house it was 28....because the windows are small . - In the pictures it looks much bigger than in reality.

Es war ein tolles Airbnb. Top einrichtung und hatte alles was man brauchte waren echt zufrieden. Jedoch finde ich hätte man noch ein bisschen mehr auf die Sauberkeit acht geben können. Also war jetzt nicht schlimm aber einige ecken waren schon dreckig. Im allgemeinen war es jedoch sauber. Top Airbnb würde es jedem weiter empfehlen. Hatten eine top Lage und mussten nie weit laufen.

This is in a great location, very central and easy to walk to anywhere in Norwich. Well appointed, clean and tidy, the check-in and out was easy. We were there during one of our rare heat waves, and due to security requirements cannot open the downstairs windows. If that happens to you, be aware there are two fans in the boiler cupboard - we didn't find them until leaving. Be aware that the key box is the black one on the back of the door. There are three key boxes, and this was the last one we tried. We can thoroughly recommend this for up to 6 people

Such a beautiful house in the perfect location to enjoy the city! Norwich is full of wonderful places to eat and drink and we loved being so close to them all! The house was as the pictures showed, immaculate, quiet, and we had no issues stopping the car outside to unload (there’s plenty of easy parking nearby). Communication was super quick and made our stay so easy- thank you!

We had a lovely family short break. The central location was perfect, this was important as there was a 10 month old baby to consider. The highchair made the snug dining area even more so but nothing that couldn't be coped with. The cottage was beautifully clean and very comfortable. We used the St Andrew's car park which was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend a stay at Princes Cottage.

Well situated pretty cottage

This is a lovely little house in a perfect location, just around the corner from central Norwich in the beautiful medieval area by the Cathedral. Although it sleeps 6 it would be a challenge to fit 6 into the snug kitchen to eat, so make it fewer or plan to eat out! Until Norwich Council changes their coin-only carpark machines, bring plenty of change to feed them. The Monument Carpark is literally around the corner from the house with plenty of spaces. It's expensive to leave for more than 5 hrs (£15 compared to £6 in St Andrews multi-story) but all the other prices are the same and it's very convenient. We had a great time.

Great Location in the city centre close to all the restaurants, bars and shops.

Great little property in a prime location to shops, restaurants and cathedral. A little noisy at night but it didn’t bother us. House is a bit smaller downstairs then first thought but with the upstairs there was plenty of room for 5 adults. The owners kindly arranged some balloons and Prosecco for my dads birthday. We would definitely stay again!

A beautiful propery right in the heart of Norwich, perfect for exploring. And a place you wanted to go back to on an evening to relax and socialise in comfort and style. We will be back in the future for sure!

Fantastic location although noisy outside at night with people heading home from the pub. House was immaculate and good decor but was top heavy and so good space upstairs but kitchen small and it would be a struggle to accommodate 6 people seated in there. No car parking but car park nearby which was excellent and reasonably priced.
