We had a great stay, the cottage was very clean, tidy and comfy! Only downside is that the chairs in the living area are more for aesthetic, they aren’t very comfy to sit on at all ?.

This was a lovely property in a very peaceful area. We were lucky to enjoy some sunshine in the garden on our first day and the cottage was nicely decorated. We went for a walk nearby and headed into Tewkesbury for the day, which was a short drive away. A couple of little extra touches would make it even better - like providing 2 dishwasher tablets (rather than 1) as we were staying 2 nights, or more than one toilet roll in the toilets. We also were a bit disappointed we couldn’t enter half an hour earlier (I picked up a friend from Evesham train station en route) without having to pay £30 extra. But overall lovely property

The property was nicely decorated. We appreciated the Christmas tree on arrival, and the complimentary bottle of red wine - thank you. The guest toilet did not flush properly, and was permanently left with residue which made the room smell. The wifi did not reach the master bedroom. The single shower for the whole residence was not very effective - very poor water pressure. The gas fire did not ignite, despite multiple tries

Lovely cottage in a quiet hamlet, good location for exploring. My only negative is a 10am checkout, 11 would be more reasonable and although we were offered a later checkout it was an additional charge.

The home was beautiful It was an electric fireplace - to note In case you wanted a wooden one I don’t think the house was well stocked with a personal touch For example there wasn’t really any of the basic essentials that I’ve seen in a lot of homes However it was a nice house and the host company were very responsive

Gleanings is a gorgeous period cottage that has been refurbished beautifully inside. The living room could have been decorated just for my husband - worn leather couches, old map, reclaimed wood table, fireplace! The beds were comfy, all the necessities were available and the decor well thought out. We loved it and would highly recommend. The location is not very walkable - I think there's one pub close by - but we were looking for something central to other Cotswolds towns and this was it. Also it's only a 10 minute drive to Tewksebury which seems to have everything. Don't le the sort of plan exterior fool you - the interior and back garden are lovel.

Very clean, comfy beds, fine for a short stay. We appreciated a bottle of wine and some crisps.. Very hard to find - particularly in the dark. Not as cosy as we’d have liked - only overhead lights in the sitting room. Not as well equipped as we’d expected - - a dishwasher tablet, black rubbish bag and full rolls of toilet paper would have been welcome. Couldn’t get the QR code guide to work - would have preferred an old- fashioned house info folder!

Great stay, I don’t think the pictures do it justice. Nice big space and in a great location. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed for three nights bank holiday weekend away with family. Beautiful location and the cottage itself was very nice. We liked the mod cons and found them easy to navigate. Kitchen fully equipped with what you needed The garden is stunning and a THEE place to enjoy morning coffee. We even spotted a woodpecker. However, a maintenance issue was not resolved during our stay which was pretty vital for a comfortable stay with 4 adults having to share one toilet despite two being at the home. After lots of message to the host I would have preferred for them to say they had no staff available the whole weekend than telling me they had escalated the issue. There is a wobbly table which my 79 year old mother tightened and am aware this was mentioned on another review. There was a issue with cleanliness of a shade over the table with some dead bugs in there but I am aware its in the countryside. After returning home and several emails later Guest Homes have given me a 15% refund.

Lovely and welcoming and clean when we arrived. Loved that Netflix etc were all signed in already. The garden was a lovely sun trap and the village was so quiet. The house was more spacious than I thought. Liked the fact it had 2 toilets too. We couldn’t find the oven gloves !? Table and bench a little wobbly probably needs replacing soon.

Lovely place to stay - out of the way and peaceful. Stayed for 2 nights for a girls (mums) getaway. Relaxing and a nice little base in the countryside. Couple of small gripes but have addressed these with Guest Homes- nothing that would spoil a stay though! Guest homes are attentive and have great instructions on checking in & out.

Really comfortable, clean, and spacious home from which to explore the beautiful Cotswolds. We had a very relaxing few days and felt very much at home. The little village surrounding the house is beautiful and worth a walk around as well!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage for the weekend. There were a couple of things that would have made it a five star stay over a four though. The first was that the property description states there is a log burner in the living room. We booked the cottage on that basis but when we turned up this was a gas fire. It didn’t ruin our stay but we probably would not have booked if we’d had know. Also the property was ice cold when we arrived. It took a good few hours for it to warm up and that was with the heating on and fire also on. By day two the property had warmed up so I assume it’s because no one had been in it for a few weeks/days. For future guests I would recommend putting some heating on in advance of their arrival if the property has been empty for a period. Overall a lovely cottage in a lovely village and we would recommend to others

We really enjoyed our stay here in Breton’s Norton. The cottage is cosy and clean and in a lovely area. Guest Homes were communicative and provided detailed instructions on checking in and using the amenities. Recommend bringing a car as it is tricky to get to without one.

The house was super clean and the welcome basket of goodies was generous. The Guest Homes team who manage the property were very responsive. We just wished we hadn't had to contact them so often during the stay with queries and problems. We found this property really hard work. It wasn't the relaxing short break we had hoped for. The cottage has impressive modern appliances, but there are no instructions on how to use them. We wasted so much time trying to work out how to make things work. For example, the Smart TV (it reported a problem with the aerial), the baffling minimalist remote control, the oven (to turn off the child lock feature so it would warm up). There is a QR code displayed in the property to access a guide to the property, but it had very little information and no guides to the appliances. Despite being able to turn the thermostat up and all the radiators turned to full, the cottage was cold and the radiators hardly got above lukewarm in many rooms. The hot water also didn't get above lukewarm despite using the boost button. The cottage is probably not ideal for cold/cooler months. Fortunately, the shower had its own heating source. We made the mistake of assuming the picture of the fireplace on the website meant there was an open or gas fire. Agreed it wasn't listed but when we booked this cottage other facilities weren't listed - like towels and a dishwasher - and they are definitely there. We understand the facilities list has now been updated but the fire remains out of action.

It was like home from home in a beautiful quiet spot. The decor was very tasteful and everything was clean. Loved the property if I had to pick anything.. perhaps new sofas needed and a clearer understanding of the how heating works as we couldn’t get it to work on day 1.

Lovely cottage, and very well decorated, on one level which helped our weekend stay with my disabled father. In this regard there are a few small steps but we managed. Lovely village and locals very friendly. Lots to do nearby. Only caveat is the 10am departure Sunday am.

Beautiful home away from home. We felt instantly at home. Warm and cosy and beds you can sleep deeply in. The home in Bredon Norton is located in a beautiful, quiet and peaceful picturesque village. Etched in historic builds with absolute character, local walks will relax you instantly. The owner sent us exact instructions - otherwise we may have got it a little wrong. Lovely snacks and a bottle of wine supplied as well as exactly the right amount of complimentary cleaning items. Great fully equipped kitchen, books and entertainment (netflix) cosy garden, friendly neighbours and postman :) Gorgeous pub ‘fox and hound’, 4 minutes away. Amazing food and service. The Fleet Inn is a must by the river - Tewkesbury- Tyning. Hickories in Worcester is a must! Great day out with kids 45 mins away: Cotswold park & beach. Burton on the river and Stow on the wold - 30 ish minutes drive, all lovely days out too ??

An absolutely beautifully decorated property with seriously comfy beds! Very clean. Tidy back garden with lots of bumble bees on the lavender. We were 5 adults staying for the weekend. The second double room had limited storage so we felt it would of been a struggle to stay any longer. The lounge was lovely although could only comfortably seat 4 adults. The shower was tricky to work but we got the hang of it. Check out was a bit early but turned out to be fine for us in the end. A pleasant stay.

We booked this property as we was attending a wedding nearby. The house was exactly as described, very clean and beautifully decorated and was perfect the occasion. The little extras in the kitchen were a lovely touch too - thank you. We only wish we had booked to stay a little longer! Would recommend to friends and family staying in the area.

Amazing, wonderful, peaceful, idyllic - the perfect location for a quiet weekend away. It is even better than the photos show - a beautiful home from home. A perfect place to stay. The welcome pack was awesome ! It is located in a lovely small village. If you are into walking, then there are some superb walks from the village. Plus is really not very far from Tewkesbury, Worcester Top recommendation.
